They can be used as stencils. This technique is really easy. Choose an outline sticker such as a medallion sticker. Remove it from the sheet and remove some of the excess sticky from its back by putting it on some fabric, such as your sleeve. Then place it on your card and chalk around your design(using crafters decorating chalks). Remove the peel off and you can see your stencilled image. Repeat this on your greetings card, using the same peel off sticker, until you have created your own background on your card. If you mat and layer the stencil peel off you can place it on your card giving you a totally co-ordinated look.

One of the simplest ways of using Peel Offs is to colour them in with permanent marker pens. Tthese are readily available and means you have an even greater range of colours available. We have noticed that the Peel Offs are even easier to handle once they have been coloured with the marker pens.

This is a good place to discuss how to remove your peel offs from the page. We use a pokey tool. If the image is large or long, you can loosen it along the top and bottom and then it should come out easily. The peel off adheres to the pokey tool, so it is easy to place the sticker exactly where you want it. You can also use a pricking tool, tweezers or a long pin to help you release it.If you do not place it in the right spot you can carefully lift it back up and put it where you wnat.

Acetate and Peel Offs work very well together. The stickers adhere to the acetate beautifully and then you can colour in the spaces with gel pens. This is best done with outline peel offs with lots of detail available. Our favourite are the stained glass window effect peel offs and the floral Craft Creation Peel Offs, as they give you lots of space to show of the enamelled effects of the gel pens. Another good idea is placing peel offs on to acetate and then cutting a round the image. This is a way of making peel offs stand out and gives them a whole different use. The glitter butterflies from Craft Creations are excellent for this technique. Placed on to the acetate they have dimension and can be placed on to all sorts of crafts. We have used them on Bridal Post Boxes, Wedding Invitations, Wedding Favours and Greetings Cards
